We’ve got your back.
Chiropractic manipulation is most commonly applied to the spine but is also effective in improving mobility and alleviating pain in all joints throughout the body.
Chiropractic manipulation is a safe non-invasive procedure that utilizes the doctor’s hands to mobilize a targeted joint. The manipulation uses a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust over restricted joints. The cavitation (the “pop”) that may be heard is due to the release of gas (mostly nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide) in the joints.
Manipulation can be applied to the following joints:
Spine
Ears
Shoulder/clavicle
Elbow
Wrist
Hip
Knee/Ankle/foot
Ribs
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ)

-
Graston (IASTM)
Evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. Also known as muscle scraping, gua sha, or astym.
-

Therapeutic taping technique that is used to relieve pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, and provide support to joints and muscles.
-
Shockwave Therapy
ESWT is a non-invasive procedure that creates low-intensity acoustic pulse (Shockwave) to relieve pain and promote healing of injured tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues.

The following are insurances Transcendence Health accepts for chiropractic care: Anthem BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Medical Mutual of Ohio, and Traditional Medicare plans. All other insurances are currently Out-Of-Network and the office can supply you with a Superbill for insurance reimbursement upon request. We accept HSA and FSA payments.
